Hi there, how are ya? Welcome to my website. I set this website up to keep an account of my stories, travels and thoughts. So sit back, relax, maybe grab a beverage of your choice and find out what has been going on in my crazy world since you last heard from me.

The night he almost died

One of the things I had to do while I was home for Christmas in New Zealand was to catch up with one of my favourite drinking buddies, Browny. He was staying at his Mum Wendy’s place in Tauranga. This was as good a spot as any to kick off our shenanigans as it was known as a New Years hotspot. Luckily enough it was the weekend of New Years Eve.

Lights blurred past our taxi as the Pakistani driver sped through London at around 5am. I was trying to get some more shut eye and the classic 70s sounds pumping out of the radio weren’t helping. Around 4 hours later my plane touched down at Salzburg airport, and within another hour I was in Munich, the host city for Oktoberfest. I was only here for the weekend but I planned to sample as much of the local beer as I could.

8. I have urinated on myself
7. I am completely lost in a foreign place and it takes me two hours to get home
6. I am in Palmerston North and I spend two hours trying to find my way home
5. I am frothing at the mouth
4. I spill my drink (surprisingly I hardly ever do this)
3. I have passed out by 7pm
2. I completely fail to recognise that a hot girl is hitting on me
1. It’s 3pm Tuesday at work and I still can’t see properly

Wasn't he that guy...

Who used to update his website with some really cool stories? Well yeah I was and hopefully still am. It’s been a long winter here in London and despite a lot of good times partying there hasn’t really been anything memorable to write about.

I have been working on some stories lately though and hope to have them up soon… And I’m going away this weekend on a hockey tour - something good ALWAYS happens on tour. Especially when it’s a mixed hockey tournament.

So don’t touch that dial kids! But if you do (you know you want to), just make sure you pay a visit in the not to distant future…
