The Bulgaria experience
Some of you may be thinking - so what is Bulgaria actually like? Well even though I only saw a tourist’s view of it I still saw enough to form my own little perception of Bulgaria. And no, it is nothing like the world presented in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Snowboarding Borovets
The flight there was unbelievably hot and the seating was like being inside a battery hen cage. But I made it to Bulgaria in one piece and after a two-hour bus ride to the Balkan Mountains I was at the resort.

Sundowner: Dinner and Dune Safari
My driver pulled up in a SUV. It had all the modern comforts - air conditioning, huge leg-space and a chiller to keep the water bottles. Surely he wasn’t going to take this machine out through the desert?
